Clients Enlist In Toone for Publicity Adweek staff report BOSTON - In Toone Communications said it has added a trio of diverse clients in recent weeks for publicity and marketing services. They are: Mandy Syers, a Providence, R.I.-based nationally known personal historian and founder of Heirloom Books; the Plastics Group of America, a Woonsocket, R.I., company that manufactures, compounds, recycles and distributes thermoplastics products; and UniStone Group in Danvers, Mass., marketing specialists for the commercial building materials and residential home design industry. A campaign promoting the services of Heirloom Books will include target family-owned businesses and individuals in the market for personal histories; public speaking will be an intensive part of the effort. In Toone launched in March in Providence, R.I., with clients SwimEx and Stone Technologies on board. Toone had worked at several local agencies such as Trion Communications, where she had been a senior account supervisor.
